Clean planet is very different issue to CO2, don’t conflate the two. CO2 is food for plants, it is necessary for plant growth.
Two things that I can't get my head around.
We are destroying the environment, allegedly, to save it. What's wrong with this picture?
We are relegating a proven reliable generation source, to a backup roll. To add to the stupidity. We are replacing it with an unreliable intermittent generating source. In what reality does that make sense?

95% of silicon for solar panels is produced in China . It takes about 10 tons of coal to produce 1 ton of silicon and requires prisoners chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid wich is fatal with contact to the skin . The price of energy in the uk and europe plus health and safety rules would prevent it being manufactured here .
British and European businesses sold out the UK and EU manufacturing industry years ago for cheap Chinese labour and no human rights profits, and now we've lost our industry to China only now are people complaining? The bizarre reason I think is China has stolen all manufacturing IP and they are now undercutting British and EU businesses products owners with companies like TAMU selling very cheap. Once they break and bankrupt the UK and European companies, business owners and Banks the prices will increase again, significantly. Just think, competition rules for UK and European companies used against them, and I see US owners now complaining about IP theft. Moral is, be careful who you get into bed with……😂

This is massive violation of our human rights. This Fabian net zero policy should have put to the vote definitely. Chna is phasing in their net zero programme gradually and sensibly.

"The theory which connects fluctuations of climate on a geological scale with changes in the composition of the earth's atmosphere is due to Tyndall and Arrhenius, and was elaborated by Chamberlin. The theory supposed that the earth's temperature is maintained by the 'blanketing' effect of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This acts like the glass of a greenhouse, allowing the sun's rays to enter unhindered, but absorbing the heat radiated from the earth's surface and returning some of it to the earth instead of letting it pass through to be lost in space. Consequently, any diminution in the amount of carbon dioxide present would cause the earth to radiate away its heat more freely, so reducing its temperature. BUT IT IS NOW KNOWN THAT THE TERRESTRIAL RADIATION WHICH THIS GAS IS CAPABLE OF ABSORBING IS TAKEN UP EQUALLY READILY BY WATER VAPOUR, OF WHICH THERE IS ALWAYS SUFFICIENT PRESENT, AND VARIATIONS OF CARBON DIOXIDE CANNOT HAVE ANY APPRECIABLE EFFECT"

The Arrhenius type GE (greenhouse effect) of CO2 and other non-condensing GHGs (greenhouse gases) is an incorrect hypothesis and the CO2 greenhouse effect based global warming hypothesis is also an artefact without any theoretical or empirical footing. Without scientific proof the debate on the CO2 GE based catastrophic AGW (anthropogenic global warming) should be abandoned and policymakers should focus on the more urgent environmental and social issues of humanity. The recent worldwide energy crisis is a warning sign that the promotion of the so-called green energy is neither solving energy shortages nor helping to protect the environment from pollution. The climate does not need protection, but the clean environment does."
'Greenhouse by CO2' theory was proven wrong by Knut Angstrom in 1900 in a paper debunking Svante Arrhenius' 1896 paper, the one all these alarmists quote. In 1906, Arrhenius reviewed his earlier work, acknowledged his errors and concluded that any additional SLIGHT warming that MIGHT come from CO2 would be 'benign and beneficial'.

None of the alarmists quote this later work. Funny, that.

We have to have Miliband stopped. He's taking fields from our farmers so they cannot grow food as Miliband wants their fields for solar panels. China again involved!!!!! we will see blackouts this winter and many elderly will die.
