While the video description already covers most of what can be said, I’ll just add this: after watching, I immediately bought a copy of Steaming to Bamboola. The camaraderie between two longtime friends was genuine.
What a wonderful heartfelt exchange. I appreciate you both for such a shining example of friendship. You gentlemen are a wonderful legacy of the men who shaped you.
Bravo to UK to Peter and Christopher and a wonderful work on WFB jr. Well done to all, an incredible show.
thank you, peter robinson, and the old era
Thank you Peter and Christopher
This is a wonderful conversation. The topic is enough to recommend it on its own. The interaction between two friends makes it all the more enjoyable.
I wonder what they really think about modern life? Nevertheless, an enjoyable video.
Always waiting for a new episode of uncommon knowledge. What a delight to hear Peter speak
Well done men. Your fathers are quite pleased.
One of the most entertaining shows ever!
met Chris Buckley at an NR dinner in LA in early 90’s. He was setting up some kind of a writing course or group for conserv young people. Kept in touch with him a bit but got busy with life and never signed up. Regrets, I have a few…

I was a great admirer of Mr. Buckley's father. During my undergraduate years, 1963-1968, at the University of Washington, at the time a hotbed of Marxist sympathies and anti-war protests, I was introduced by a conservative friend to "National Review", "God and Man At Yale", and "Witness" by Whitaker Chambers. I soon became a conservative too and a member of a Student Union informal coffee klatch group of fellow closet conservatives. I have never looked back.
It was so good through Peter's interview to become acquainted with Christopher, a son of whom the incomparable WFB, Jr. could have been so justifiably proud. Bravo, Peter, for making the introduction!

Feeling nostalgic for WFB Jr., and the era in which we tried never to miss his written or oratorial gems. Thank you, Peter and Christopher, for this wonderful conversation.
Hah!
Thanks for this. How fun to watch these two longtime friends and former colleagues discuss Buckley's bibliography. He has always seemed like a fun fellow, and I appreciate the Hoover Institution which has been a nice resource for me since my undergrad days at Wabash College.
