This happened to me… a guy decided to bust a u-turn on a wet slippery downhill from the right lane of a 4 lane road. I tried to stop early too, but wasn't able to stop the last few feet.
Thats criminal negligence penal code 192(b) where you knowingly cause or preform an action that is subjected to cause harm to someone by your negligent behavior. If im not mistaken that could also be attempted homicide. I say life in prison judge, throw the book at em!
