Who in their right mind lets their 5 yo go to the park alone smhâĻ
What happened here is demonic.
Thirteen years old and you tell me you are confused about the fact that following 4 years old child and crushing his head is wrong . That level of violence is repulsive by nature you donât have to be taught that . If he wasnât found out he would be a serial killer no doubt if that . People are obsessed with â finding light in tge darkness and the change of heart â how many people died because criminals got released

Sorry
I would never ever let a child go alone
If this also released the Robies (to some extent), then maybe his release was worth it.
Idk. For me, if someone believes they have the right to freedom after doing something like this, that tells me they haven't changed at all.
His parole supervision just ended in April of 2025.
Itâs sickening that the perpetrator is allowed to repeatedly petition for parole, continuing to hurt these families year after year. When will they finally be able to find peace and closure?
How about we blame Eric and not Derrick's mother who already blames herself? Releasing him is a stab in the back to Derrick Robie and his family.
Eric is evil and should be serving LWOP. But honestly, who lets a five year old go anywhere on their own? This was a perfect storm of carelessness and evil. And Eric's parents are as guilty as Eric. They never got him help. Most likely because the stepfather didn't want it to come out that he molested the kids.
It was the kids dad think about it he knew about the kool aid
That Judge was warped. Young Derrick was murdered, and his grieving mother was not allowed to say what Derrick was like in life? So, to the jury and the court, he was just a name? But they could all hear everything about Eric Smith and how HE was the victim? That is sick.
He's evil. I have no interest in the debate of whether or not he would hurt someone else. Why take a chance? And for anyone who's whining about 2nd chances, would you let him babysit your kids?
Usual suspects
evil horrible creature he might have only been a child when he killed but he's sheer evil who shouldn't be allowed to be freed
Them poor parents, this is heartbreaking and that thing should nver of been let out
Im sorry, but why would you ever let a 4 year old out of your sight until they are with another adult you completely trust.
Its a sick world we live in
Lots of people are bullied! Eric knew right from wrong at age 13âĻhe shouldâve never got out of prison. Ever. đĄ
Eric is out of prison but will forever have to live with what he did.
39:04 i feel so sorry for the dad, you can see how much he is struggling to not lose it đ I do hope that Eric turned his life around and is a better person.
That has to be every parents worst nightmare, then imagining his agony as he was beat to death.
I can't think of anything more horrible for a parent. That kid was a monster x 10.
I grew up in a very abusive house, had an epileptic seizure in my 4th grade class so I was labeled a freak was bullied and beat on and had no friends. Instead I rescued and helped animals in need and never had any desire to hurt anyone or anything, my point is he was far from normal and was full of hateful rage. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Someone like this needs to stay locked up. His eyes were vacant then, they still are.
Those poor parents but also that poor Mother. Im sure i have an idea of whats she has thought, but she could have never known. Thoguhts to themâ¤
