Everyone who has watched long format conversations with Elon on engineering or technology, and has a high level of skills in these areas, knows that he is an exceptionally talented, brilliant and forward thinking entrepreneur. It is not equal to saying his is a man of etiquette or does not use power play in business, but he still has a level of understanding of technological issues and ability to address them like very few others. And he is shameless about it, which people like to see, he is himself for better or worse.
If, however, the longest clip you have seen of him is 15 seconds long, a time no meaningful ideas can be communicated, you risk falling a victim to narratives, regards of your education or political beliefs..
