“Ai is already lying to its creators” yeah. Every time someone makes one, they have to prune and neuter it otherwise it starts pointing out things that its creators aren’t comfortable with. They did it with GPT, they did it with the Snapchat ai, and I’ve seen articles about it in other sectors. If you keep getting punished for pointing out the truth, you’re going to start omitting the truth or just straight up lie

"Lying" doesn't suggest consciousness. It suggests that AI just isn't as infallible as it's made out to be. Plus, it's likely that the data they were trained on contained lies.

Without any further detail, at this moment it sounds like something made up to make ppl buy into what they’re selling because on the surface it sounds plausible; then some of us think deeper about that explanation and realize they didn’t actually tell you anything

I’ve had multiple people I personally know have issues in the past few weeks with real ID. They are getting called fraudulent when they are not. Getting kicked off flights, having their bank accounts closed, etc etc. it’s awful
