Why is Trump getting in league with the Qataris as well as Putin? I see a very destructive trend here toward authoritarian aggression. All the while golfing during a Government shutdown as jobs decline and groceries and housing get unaffordable.

GoP can say whatever they want but this Shutdown is being orchestrated by Trump and Company. They have ZERO interest in ending the shutdown. The Shutdown allows for them to get a lot of Project 25 work done without having to be bothered by the legalities and congress. This is super convenient for GoP and as far as they are concerned, another 2 weeks of this and they can get even more done. American citizens are a complete afterthought here. Its completely political but this time its not the Libs who are to blame.

Anyway, look at it another way…. if a party controls the 3 houses and the presidency and it legitimately cannot solve a shutdown with all that power, then it is the weakest party America has ever seen and is by definition not fit for office. Yes, I like pure logic.
