Saagar is so punchable and so often talking out of his azz

@chicaqt107 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Just want to also say that I watched a Hank Green video about the public service commission election in Georgia and sent it to a friend who lives there. She ended up voting for the Dem. I would not be shocked if that video played a big role in the swing!

@BrianLanier-e5m November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

You guys bring up data centers, Bill Gates in Kenosha County Wisconsin. He bought one percent of all of the property in Kenosha County to build nothing but data centers.

@Rickydiculus November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

That's a nice data center ter you have there, be ashamed if it it were to but to the ground

@radicalizeme November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

It would be nice if Krystal would call out Saagar’s anti-China BS. It’s the only country that has met all the climate goals.

@jimcarlson2252 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

China has prepared for increased electricity needs since 2010 to 2025 by building over 1,000 brand new mainland Chinese coal fired power plants that can supply 75% of all electricity needs for all of China. China plans to build another 500 coal fired power plants by 2035.

@babablacksheep8019 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Do your own research but I read that China has made so many garbage burning factories to make energy that they’re running out of trash. They filter the air pollution and make construction materials out of it.

@RepublicanJesus1 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

00:32 He's right, Electricity is State-ran, for this purpose….
buuutttt everyone's prices are going up because BIG TECH BIG AI, META,APPLE,MICROSOFT,SILICON-VALLEY,TN-FARMLAND, taking over by AI SERVERS EATING UP WATER AND ELECTRICITY, THE SAME THINGS FARMERS USE!!!

@opuntiateacher3660 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

One big reason I'm against data centers is they plan to transition to nuclear power to meet their power needs. Nuclear consumes enormously more water and brings with it the problem of radioactive waste. I am shocked that Saagar Enjeti, beginning at around 1:50 seems to be promoting nuclear power. Bulldoze the NIMBYs? He would like to see 1,000 nuclear power plants? Am I hearing this right? And at 11:10, Krystal also seems to be promoting nuclear as well, although it is garbled and I can't understand exactly what she is trying to say. Very distressing.

@Youtubegoblin23 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

100% with Sagar on this one. Work in a corporate in IT and the bs promise of AI delivers productivity increases of like 1% and that's not subtracting the training investment or platform costs.

@__-xy9gx November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

China's actually flattening/reversing co2 emissions now, based on a new report the other day

@riddlemaker3739 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

We’ll sell you some modular Nuclear Power Plants.. Google

@shelbzillathrilla November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

This idea that we lack intelligence or money and thats why our civilization is failing is pure delusion.
All of our problems are egoic.
We haven’t solved food or energy scarcity. Nothing we do is sustainable or pro social.

@firstlast2762 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

The electricity shortage will be solved … if you can't put the pieces of the puzzle together how … you may be one of the ones that do not survive the coming decades … it's time to evolve my fellow humans. ❤

@ElBierce-v6r November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Record prices, record profits.

@testtuber999 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

We need massive increase in power plants and energy. This is inevitable especially if we want to switch to electric vehicles. We need 75 new Gigawatts in 25 years at minimum. Thats 75 1 giggawatt nuclear power plants. We need to build yesterday.

@Christ_the_great November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

I live in ga and my power bill went from 200$ a month to almost 900$ in just a year. Ga power is robbing me blind

@YouLoseSir November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

I notice how BP isn't calling on a boycott of using LLMs and AI bots

@imwatchingthenews7311 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

For some jerk in say, Germany, to be able to make AI porn using data centers in the USA that are raising my electric bills is Grade A BS that I cannot get behind.

@Alejandro_87 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

We are basically slaves asking our plantation masters to give us better living conditions. Why would they do that?? We work hard doing the heavy lifting for society, we pay an insane amount of taxes, and they spend that money on themselves while living in luxury. And the majority of society will never get ahead because of inflation and debt

@OoohhForSure November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Why is there a shit load of data centers being built?

@apope06 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

If you cant see the benefits of ai then younhave zero imagination. At work i use it for quick answers and for efficient data processing. It can be used to helpnthe environment and all kinds of things. Just use your brain

@Perestroika88 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

You put a gay man in charge of the money and expected him not to spend anything

@Perestroika88 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Met this man rot in hell sooner rather than later

@apope06 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

After spending years shipping our jobs overseas? Now they want to oppose jobs here at home.

@apope06 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

The president is not a king. He doesn't have the right to fund snap benefits through contingency funds. And inflation is down. What is she talking about? Look at the historical data. What increases inflation is lowering interest rates and goct shutdowns.😂

@apope06 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

People opposing AI are the same people who opposed the industrial revolution and the same people who opposed the internet

@apope06 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Scott Bessent is great. Inflation has stabilized. Historically 3.1% is normal. Democrats opposing data centers is silly. Do you want republican states to have job growth and high tech or Democratic cities?

@jeffthompson1869 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

They jump between -the government is incompetent – to the government is not doing anything – to I want the government involved in doing something. The energy costs of a State ARE directly the responsibility of the States. It has never been the federal government's responsibility.

@ricklafrance11 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Thought this show was supposed to show both sides? Saager has joined the left to bash Trump and his administration in every episode. This show has become insufferable TDS propaganda. Sad!!!

@expertmike7695 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Natiinalizing oil is how you get gas price under control. These are private companies that have a duty to shareholders to make as much profit as possible. So many people say just drill more. Oil execs dont want to drill more to decrease prices. Dont listen to me, listen to them.

If you really want lower prices, if the profit motive is antithetical to lower gas prices, then nationalize oil.

@farmboy8313 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

I don't think I've seen the administration take responsibility for any problems. They all make me sick.

@IAmNumber4000 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Data centers should shoulder EVERYONE’S energy bill increases. It’s only fair.

@Summonergeek November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

AI NIBY. Krystal nailing it. Was Roy "two bullets" Jones right? People don't care until it hurts THEM. The tech bros have "othered" themselves.

@pawnography5788 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Just can't deal with Sagar

@KonzaCelt November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

it's eternally painful to watch Saagar go ballistic over the completely routine results of free market capitalism, and never blame free market capitalism.

@chrismartin2664 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

I’m getting phone calls from some AI sales shit now

@janicelgo4522 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

Let those companies build nuclear power. Infuriating that its always the bottom 80% 🤷🤯 paying for the businesses of the top 20%.

@cattreeoflife980 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

How about refund the clean energy. And no please I don't want to 100 New nuclear plants are you crazy Saagar

@courtneyn.m.1687 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

There was at least a near-viral (if not viral) video telling Georgia how important this issue was

@sbayles5593 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Saager is the biggest obnoxious ass ever. I believe he insults every group of people in someway who are not superior like him in every show.

@Senorzilchnzero November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

"almost no inflation" LOL are you kidding me? Restaurant prices are insane. Supermarket prices are insane. F'ing liars. They're going to print trillions more here pretty soon. You CANNOT bring inflation down while printing trillions. Liars!!

@MWhaleK November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

We need to develop Thorium power and invest in tidal power generators as well as traditional renewables.

@benderthegreat100 November 17, 2025 - 1:38 pm

here is an idea make them pay there own power bills
