I was baffled when a coworker and close friend of mine said Dahmer came to faith in Jesus Christ before his death. That blew my mind but also cemented my belief God's mercy and love to forgive the most vile offenses is available to everyone.

I love books. I read a book about Jeffery D. It was by a psychologist and it was very deep, dark reading. This was the only book that I immediately discarded after completion!

Why is changing appearances
I am definitely not trying to say that he is at all a good person, but I find it fascinating that he was so open about his crimes after he was caught.
I think he would have been an interesting subject to study and he may have been able to at least contribute to the science of these people's psychologies. However, feet had a different plan and that's the way it is and I can't say he didn't deserve it. But there's not many other serial murders that did what he did in telling the honest truth. It seems he didn't really hide anything.
Israel Keyes was somewhat honest but not fully as much as Dahmer. And same with Bundy he didn't really tell the truth. He blamed pornography which is such a cop-out you can't do that because every single man that I know has seen pornography before and has never harmed anybody like they did. So I don't agree with his reasons for why he did these things. I think it was simply a mixture of nature and nurture and his situation.

I did 7 years in prison 4 of which were at Columbia correctional institution where he was mudered. The gym still has the big blind spot where many fights have happened over the years and I’ve met many guards who were there while he was there. One old guard even said he was working when he was killed but he was a response officer who rushed to the scene after it took place.
I’d only seen 1 murder take place over my years there which a man strangled his cell mate.
Unfortunately I was next door to a 19 y.o who had 16 year sentence who felt like that was forever so he strangled himself by wrapping himself with a sheet around his toilet until he took his life. I cried so hard hearing him gasp and gag and no guard came past like they were supposed to. I spoke with the warden and the lady working the unit was fired. A small price to pay for ignoring inmate screams bc he told us what he was doing before he did it and our yelling was ignored and us in the cells on the sides and across will always live with hearing his last breaths.
Cci is a horrible place, people cut themselves daily a man I knew once shoved his glasses arm up his pee hole. That’s how bad people lose their minds in cci.
In summer it gets so hot in the cells I’d soak my sheets and lay naked on the floor to try to get some relief. That was some super hard time.
